J. Cole Cancels Sacramento Concert After Crew Member Dies in Truck Crash

Rapper J. Cole canceled his concert in Sacramento, California, on August 27, 2026, following the death of a touring crew member in a trucking accident earlier that morning. The driver, identified as 66-year-old Jarlath Parkinson of Jackson, South Carolina, was killed when the semi-truck he was operating overturned on southbound Interstate 5 near Woodland. The crash occurred shortly after 6 a.m. in Yolo County, between the Zamora and Dufour areas. According to the California Highway Patrol, the truck, which was hauling equipment for Cole's show, drifted onto the right shoulder.
