Israel and Greece Sign 3 Billion Euro Defense Deal

Israel and Greece signed a landmark defense agreement on Monday, August 31, 2026, valued at approximately 3 billion euros ($3.5 billion), marking the largest arms deal between the two nations. The deal, dubbed "Achilles Shield," will see Israel construct a comprehensive, multilayered air and missile defense network for Greece, integrating several of its most advanced systems.
