INMO AIR3 Smart Glasses Recalled Over Overheating Risk

Health Canada and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission have recalled INMO AIR3 smart glasses after reports that the left side may overheat during extended use, creating a burn hazard. Owners are advised to stop using the glasses and install firmware version 3.16 before using them again. The recall covers glasses sold in the United States and Canada from December 2025 through August 2026. INMO reported that 1,643 pairs were sold in the United States and 120 in Canada during that period. The glasses were sold online through Amazon, Kickstarter and INMO’s website. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said INMO received 10 reports of the glasses overheating. Some users reported burning sensations on their faces and the left sides of their ears. Health Canada said no Canadian incident or injury reports had been received as of September 17, 2026. Those figures describe reports received by that date; the notices do not establish whether reporting changed afterward. The affected product is identified as the INMO AIR3, a black pair of smart glasses marked AIR3 and INMO on a label on the inside of the right arm.
