Indian spinner Suthar equals 131-year-old first-class record

Indian spinner Manav Suthar has equalled a 131-year-old first-class cricket record by taking three wickets without conceding a single run across both innings of a County Championship match for Warwickshire against Glamorgan. The remarkable feat, achieved at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff, makes Suthar only the second bowler in first-class history to accomplish the milestone, matching a record set by England's Tom Hayward for Leicestershire against Surrey in 1895. Suthar, a 26-year-old left-arm spinner, bowled just 15 deliveries across the entire match. In Glamorgan's first innings, he was called upon late and needed only three balls to dismiss No. 11 Mir Hamza, wrapping up the innings for 69. In the second innings, he bowled two complete overs without conceding a run, picking up two more wickets by bowling Chris Cooke and Jamie McIlroy as Glamorgan were dismissed for just 65. All three of his wickets were bowled dismissals. The performance was a key contribution to a massive Warwickshire victory by an innings and 257 runs.
