The Indian Embassy in Riyadh has advised Indian nationals across Saudi Arabia to remain vigilant, shelter indoors during aerial attacks and follow local-authority instructions, while opening a 24-hour control room to assist them amid security concerns following an October 10 attack at Riyadh airport. The Embassy also urged people not to circulate or repost videos or news related to the ongoing events. It advised nationals to stay in regular contact with their airlines and check flight information before travelling to an airport. The Embassy reported that 11 Indian nationals were injured in the October 10 attack at King Khalid International Airport. As of its latest update, four were in intensive care, four were being treated in regular hospital wards and three had been discharged. Embassy officials were visiting hospitals and keeping in contact with the injured people’s families, the mission said. Mohammed Yousef Ali, an Indian national who died in the attack, was buried in Riyadh on October 12, according to the Embassy. The Ambassador and Embassy officials attended the funeral, held in accordance with his family’s wishes.
