IKEA to host one-night unlimited meatball buffet

IKEA is set to host a one-night-only "Eatball Buffet" event across several of its stores, offering unlimited servings of its popular meatballs for a fixed price. The event, designed to celebrate the evolution of the Swedish furniture giant's iconic food offering, will take place on Thursday, September 24, 2026. Customers will have the opportunity to enjoy bottomless meatballs at participating IKEA restaurants, including locations in Glasgow, Leeds, Gateshead, and Warrington. The buffet will feature classic Swedish meatballs, as well as chicken meatballs, plant balls, and crunchy falafel balls. These options will be served with traditional trimmings such as mash or chips, peas, cream sauce, and lingonberry jam. Soft drinks, tea, and filter coffee are also included in the offering. To enhance the experience, IKEA restaurants will be given a "VIP treatment" for the evening. This includes the introduction of velvet ropes, entry stamps, and wristbands. A designated "Meatball Bouncer" will be stationed at the entrance to distribute wristbands and manage the festivities. A meatball-themed photo backdrop will also be available for attendees.
