ICE Partners With tZERO for NYSE Tokenized Securities Platform
Intercontinental Exchange, the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, announced on August 31, 2026, a partnership with blockchain infrastructure firm tZERO to build the systems for a planned NYSE-affiliated tokenized securities platform. The collaboration, outlined in a memorandum of understanding, positions tZERO as a premier design partner for the digital transfer agent and broker-dealer infrastructure that would support on-chain settlement of tokenized securities. Under the agreements, ICE will invest in tZERO's latest financing round and receive a license to tZERO's blockchain patent portfolio, which spans 23 patent families and 103 patents.
