IAS Officer Divya Mittal Resigns After 13 Years

Divya Mittal, a senior Indian Administrative Service officer from the Uttar Pradesh cadre, has resigned from her position after a 13-year career in public service. The 2013-batch officer announced her voluntary departure on August 30, 2026, through an emotional post on the social media platform X, reflecting on a journey she described as unforgettable. Mittal, an alumna of IIT Delhi and IIM Bangalore, had previously worked in London's finance sector before returning to India to pursue civil services. She cleared the UPSC Civil Services Examination and joined the IAS, serving in various capacities across Uttar Pradesh.
