Hurts hits Cooper for late TD as Eagles edge Titans 24-20

Jalen Hurts threw a 3-yard touchdown pass to Darius Cooper with nine seconds remaining, lifting the Philadelphia Eagles to a 24-20 comeback victory over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday at Nissan Stadium in Nashville. The win moved the Eagles to 2-0 on the season while the Titans fell to 0-2. Philadelphia trailed 20-17 after Joey Slye converted a field goal late in the fourth quarter, leaving Hurts roughly 1:56 to drive 65 yards for the go-ahead score. He completed the march without timeouts, connecting with DeVonta Smith on a 19-yard pass to the 3-yard line with 14 seconds left before finding Cooper in the back of the end zone. It was the first touchdown catch of Cooper's career. Hurts finished 26 of 37 for 264 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Smith recorded 10 catches for 117 yards and a touchdown, and Jake Elliott added a 58-yard field goal. Tank Bigsby also rushed for a score. The game was far from clean for Philadelphia. Tennessee sacked Hurts three times and intercepted him twice, converting those turnovers into 10 points. One interception by Amani Hooker, thrown into double coverage, set up Cam Ward's 1-yard touchdown run.
