HPE Raises Networking Outlook After $1.2 Billion Vultr Order
Hewlett Packard Enterprise raised its fiscal 2027 networking revenue-growth outlook and announced a $1.2 billion order from cloud provider Vultr for its AMD Helios system, as it positioned networking as a larger growth business amid rising demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure. At its Networking Investor Day, HPE raised its forecast for fiscal 2027 networking revenue growth to the high teens to low 20% range, from a previous estimate of 14% to 17%. The company also said it expects cumulative Networks for AI orders in fiscal 2026 to exceed $3 billion, above its earlier range of $2.5 billion to $3 billion. Those figures are company projections, not reported final results. HPE described the Vultr order as its first for the integrated Helios platform, which combines HPE compute and networking technology with AMD’s system architecture. The order includes HPE scale-up switching and software. HPE has not disclosed how much of the $1.2 billion total is attributable to networking rather than compute, software, services or other components, limiting what the deal alone shows about networking revenue.
