Howard Stern Shifts to Weekly SiriusXM Show, Launches HBO Max Series
Howard Stern is transitioning his long-running radio program to a once-weekly schedule on SiriusXM while simultaneously launching a television adaptation of the show on HBO Max. The new format begins with a live broadcast on Monday, September 14, 2026, followed by the premiere of the HBO Max series on Thursday, September 17, 2026. The move marks a significant shift for the broadcaster, who has been gradually reducing his workload for more than a decade. Stern, who turns 73 in January 2027, has signed a new three-year contract with SiriusXM that runs through 2028.
