Honda rules Joan Mir out of Japanese and Indonesian Grands Prix

The Japanese manufacturer said Mir has been experiencing a variety of symptoms affecting his energy and performance for several months, with a recent increase in severity. Tests at Dexeus University Hospital in Barcelona, conducted under the care of MotoGP chief medical officer Dr. Angel Charte and his team, have remained inconclusive, and the root cause of the symptoms has not been identified. Dr. Charte advised strict rest and rehabilitative treatment for 15 days and recommended against competing in the Japanese and Indonesian Grands Prix.
