Holmes made the announcement on September 27, writing that posts without her initials would come from the people managing the account. Her profile had described the arrangement as “Mostly my words, posted by others.” In the post, she said loved ones had helped run the account while she was in prison and named her partner, Billy Evans, as one of those involved. She also expressed gratitude to supporters and referred to letters they had sent her. Holmes was convicted by a federal jury in 2022 of conspiracy and wire-fraud counts related to Theranos, the blood-testing company she founded. She is serving an 11-year prison sentence.
