Henry Pollock signs multi-year deal to stay at Northampton

Henry Pollock has signed a multi-year contract extension with Northampton Saints, ending months of speculation about the England backrow forward's future. The deal was announced on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, with the 21-year-old saying he is "massively happy" to re-sign with his boyhood club. Pollock joined Eddie Hearn's Matchroom agency earlier this year, and the boxing promoter publicly advocated for a significant pay rise on the player's previous deal. Hearn suggested the flanker, who has won 13 England caps by the age of 21, was a seven-figure player worth £1m a year. Hearn was not involved in the contract negotiations themselves. While Northampton say contract details are undisclosed, reports put the new deal at around £450,000 a year, well below Hearn's publicly touted figure.
