Henry Driven by Super Bowl Urgency with Ravens

Derrick Henry has expressed a singular focus on winning a Super Bowl during his tenure with the Baltimore Ravens, stating he is tired of watching the championship game from the sidelines. The veteran running back, who joined the Ravens in 2024 after a decade with the Tennessee Titans, emphasized his desire to avoid ending his partnership with quarterback Lamar Jackson without a championship ring. "It would be crazy for me to say I played with Lamar Jackson, and we didn't win no championships. I cannot have that. I do not want that to be a thing. We've got to do it," Henry said on a recent appearance on The Lounge podcast. He added, "I want to win a Super Bowl. That's a big motivation. I just want to be able to feel that feeling. I'm tired of watching. Every year, I'm tired of being at home on the couch watching. I want to be a part of it." Despite Henry's individual success, the Ravens have struggled to translate their talent into deep playoff runs. In his first two seasons with Baltimore, the team has managed only one playoff victory.
