Heated Rivalry Season 2 Adds Six New Cast Members

The second season of the hockey romance series "Heated Rivalry" has added six new actors to its cast, with production currently underway for a spring 2027 premiere on HBO Max. The new additions include Brendan Morgan, David Tomlinson, Gerry Dee, Michelle Mylett, Lauren Chan, and Nick Stahl. Morgan will portray Zane Boodram, a professional hockey player on the Ottawa team. Tomlinson joins as Cody Kent, a player for the Toronto team; the character has been renamed from Dallas Kent in Rachel Reid's source novels. Gerry Dee has been cast as Coach Cooper, the head coach of the Toronto team. Michelle Mylett will play Lisa, a doctor and the wife of Wyatt Hayes, an Ottawa player introduced in the second season. Lauren Chan takes the role of Gen, an employee of the Ottawa team who works alongside new lead character Harris Drover, played by Justice Smith. Nick Stahl will appear as Curtis Barrett, the father of new lead Troy Barrett, portrayed by Charlie Gillespie. Several of the new cast members have previously worked with series creator Jacob Tierney. Tierney directed Dee in the sitcom "Mr. D," collaborated with Mylett on "Letterkenny," and directed Stahl in the 2003 film "Twist.
