Haryanvi Singer Ankit Balyan Shot Dead Outside Gym in Shamli

Popular Haryanvi singer and YouTuber Ankit Balyan was shot dead by unidentified assailants outside a gym in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh, on Wednesday evening, August 26, 2026. The 32-year-old was attacked as he left the gym in the City Kotwali area, with police reporting that multiple rounds were fired. Balyan was declared dead after being taken to a nearby hospital. The shooting occurred at approximately 7:00 p.m. near Aryapuri Nala Patri. According to police, Balyan had just finished his workout and was walking toward his SUV when the attackers, who arrived on two motorcycles, opened fire. Officials stated that three to four men were involved and fired repeatedly.
