Hanuman Ansh enters 2026 top three grossers worldwide

Hanuman Ansh, a low-budget devotional film about the life of Neem Karoli Baba, has crossed Rs 350 crore worldwide and become the third highest-grossing Indian film of 2026, according to trade figures. By Day 47, the Vishal Chaturvedi-directed film had earned Rs 4.90 crore nett in India, taking its domestic nett total to Rs 280.93 crore and its worldwide gross to Rs 366.45 crore, according to Sacnilk trade estimates cited across reports. Overseas figures vary between reports, with some placing the overseas gross at Rs 26.50 crore and others at Rs 34.75 crore. The film, starring Shobhinaw Satyaa and released on August 7, has surpassed the lifetime worldwide collections of Toxic (Rs 342 crore), Peddi (Rs 341 crore) and Jana Nayagan (Rs 324 crore). It now trails only Dhurandhar 2 and Border 2 among 2026's highest-grossing Indian films worldwide. The result is striking given the film's scale. Hanuman Ansh opened to roughly Rs 10 lakh and was made on a reported budget of about Rs 2 crore. It earned only around Rs 1.48 crore in its first two weeks before word of mouth drove a sharp turnaround. Weekly domestic collections climbed to Rs 61 crore in week four, Rs 90.
