Hamilton opposes shorter Formula 1 races for 2027

The FIA has approved a reduction in most Formula 1 Grand Prix distances for 2027, cutting the standard race length from 305 kilometers to 290 kilometers. Lewis Hamilton criticized the change, saying he believes races should be longer, not shorter. Monaco is exempt and will retain its 260-kilometer distance.
