Gurugram authorities have issued a work-from-home advisory for Tuesday, August 25, following severe waterlogging and traffic disruptions caused by heavy rainfall on Monday. The directive, issued by the District Disaster Management Authority, applies to corporate offices, government and private schools, and other institutions across the district. The advisory was prompted by intense rainfall on August 24, which led to significant civic disruption. The India Meteorological Department had initially issued an orange alert for Gurugram and neighboring Faridabad, later downgrading it to a yellow alert for the broader Delhi-NCR region as conditions stabilized.
