Gundam Rogue Orbit launches March 5 2027

Bandai Namco has confirmed that the action game Gundam Rogue Orbit will launch worldwide on March 5, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The announcement was accompanied by a new trailer that offers a more extensive look at the game's high-speed Mobile Suit combat, original story, and diverse cast of characters. Set in a brand-new timeline within the expansive Gundam universe, Gundam Rogue Orbit places players in the cockpit of the Gundam Helix, piloted by ace pilot REX. After being found adrift in space, REX becomes humanity's last hope against a mysterious and formidable threat known as the Apocalypse. Unlike many previous entries in the franchise that focus on human faction conflicts, this game introduces biomechanical alien enemies with uniquely monstrous designs, some of which are large enough to serve as dramatic boss battles. The game is designed as a high-mobility action title, emphasizing fast-paced, cinematic combat that blends ranged attacks, melee engagements, and aerial maneuvers. Players will have the ability to customize the Gundam Helix with various weapons, frames, thrusters, and cosmetic options, allowing for a personalized playstyle.
