Grand Theft Auto VI will introduce more complex vehicle theft mechanics and a new criminal profile system that tracks player behavior, according to new details revealed ahead of the game's launch. The changes, detailed in a preview and interview with Rockstar Games co-studio head Rob Nelson, mark a significant evolution from the series' traditional gameplay. The core mechanic of stealing cars will now vary based on the vehicle's make and model. Previously, players could press a single button to hotwire any car.
