Grayscale Zcash ETF Executes 3-for-1 Share Split
Grayscale Investments is executing a 3-for-1 forward share split for its Zcash ETF, ticker ZCSH, to lower the per-share price after rapid asset growth since its August launch. The split, scheduled to take effect before trading begins on September 30, 2026, will not change the total economic value of an investor's holding. According to a September 18 filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, shareholders of record at the close of trading on September 28 will receive two additional shares for every share they own. The new shares will be distributed after the market closes on September 29, and split-adjusted trading will commence on NYSE Arca on September 30 under the same ticker and CUSIP number. The move comes as ZCSH has seen significant growth. Grayscale reported that the fund surpassed $500 million in assets under management within two weeks of its August 25 launch. More recent third-party data indicated cumulative net inflows exceeded $233 million by September 17, with net assets approaching $890 million. The ETF has also attracted substantial trading activity. For the week ending September 18, ZCSH recorded $11.42 billion in trading volume, accounting for 32.
