Govinda Visits Lalbaugcha Raja With Co-Star Amid Marriage Speculation

Bollywood actor Govinda visited Mumbai's Lalbaugcha Raja pandal on Tuesday, September 22, accompanied by his co-star Komal Rani Swarnkar from the upcoming film Roopa, hours after his wife Sunita Ahuja made a solo visit to the same pandal earlier that day. The separate visits, during the Ganesh Chaturthi festival, drew wide attention given the ongoing public speculation surrounding the couple's marriage. Govinda, dressed in a traditional white kurta-pyjama, offered prayers and performed the final aarti before leaving the venue amid tight security. He and Komal were seen greeting devotees and posing for photographers outside the pandal. Komal wore a red saree with jewellery and bangles, and clips from the visit showing her wearing sindoor after the darshan prompted fresh speculation on social media. Sunita, who visited the pandal on Tuesday morning, offered prayers and interacted with those around her. The appearance comes against the backdrop of a prolonged marital controversy. Sunita filed a divorce petition against Govinda at Mumbai's Bandra Family Court in December 2024, citing adultery, cruelty and desertion under the Hindu Marriage Act.
