Google removes Pixel Tablet from its store

Published 11 September 2026

Google appears to have quietly ended sales of the Pixel Tablet, with the device vanishing from the Google Store this week and becoming unavailable in new condition at major retailers. The removal was first spotted by Jetstream, which had reported days earlier that the tablet was marked as out of stock. The listing has since been deleted entirely, and a direct link to the product now redirects to the Google Store homepage. The Tablet category has also been removed from the navigation menu on the store's homepage. The tablet is similarly difficult to find elsewhere. Amazon no longer offers it as a new product, with only an open-box unit available through Amazon Resale, and Best Buy lists the device as no longer available in new condition. Google's own accessories remain listed, but most are also unavailable: the Pixel Tablet Case and the Charging Speaker Dock can only be set up for stock notifications, leaving the Wasserstein Pixel Tablet Speaker Stand as the only accessory still purchasable. Google has not officially confirmed that the tablet has been discontinued, and one outlet said it has asked the company for confirmation and is awaiting a response.
