Google Pixel 11 Series Launched With AI

Published 5 September 2026

Google has launched its latest Pixel 11 smartphone series, featuring the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro XL, all powered by the new Tensor G6 chipset and running Android 17. The devices emphasize refined design, enhanced camera capabilities, and deep integration of Google's AI, particularly its Gemini models. The Pixel 11 series introduces several software advancements. Gemini is integrated across the user experience, powering features like Circle to Search, Live Translate, and Call Assist. Camera-focused AI tools such as Magic Capture and Camera Coach aim to improve photo and video quality. A new voice input tool called Rambler is designed to transcribe speech more accurately by removing filler words and hesitations, though its utility is debated by some reviewers. The Pro and Pro XL models include a customizable HiLight notification LED, which has received mixed reviews for its limited functionality, primarily supporting phone calls and Gemini interactions. All models are promised seven years of software and security updates. Design-wise, the Pixel 11 series maintains a premium feel with satin-finish aluminum frames and Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
