Google partners MrBeast for Gemini, Health, Fitbit

Published 5 September 2026

Google has launched a multiyear partnership with YouTube creator MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, to promote its Gemini artificial intelligence platform, Google Health, and Fitbit wearable technology. The collaboration, announced on September 2, 2026, is designed to showcase how these Google products can be integrated into ambitious content creation and everyday wellness. The partnership's initial phase features a video premiering today, September 5, 2026, where MrBeast and his team will navigate some of the planet's most challenging terrains-the jungle, desert, and Arctic. Gemini will be used to help identify dangers, survive extreme weather changes, and manage the logistics of the survival challenge. A separate advertising campaign will also feature MrBeast demonstrating how the AI assistant can aid in planning his signature large-scale stunts. Beast Industries CEO Jeff Housenbold described the deal as a commitment to AI as both a creative engine and a business tool. However, he clarified that while Gemini supports research and feasibility work for content production, it is not used to create the videos themselves.
