Google Launches Family AI Agent CC for Household Coordination
Google has introduced a new version of its CC artificial intelligence agent, transforming it into a family-focused assistant to help households manage schedules, tasks, and shared information. Announced this week, the revamped CC allows up to six family members to collaborate through a dedicated AI account that coordinates calendars, emails, and to-do lists. CC now operates with its own verified Google account, enabling family members to share specific emails, documents, and events. Users can automatically forward messages from selected senders, such as schools, sports teams, or travel companies, to the agent, which then organizes the information into a shared daily briefing titled "Your Day Ahead," a family calendar, and a task list. The agent can assist with tasks like filling out permission slips, creating shopping lists, planning weekly meals, and checking drive times between activities, while always seeking user permission before taking action. The service runs on an isolated cloud computer powered by Google's Gemini models, reportedly using Gemini 3.8 Flash, and the Antigravity agent framework.
