Giggs Praises Young Talents Gabriel and Dowman
Ryan Giggs, the Manchester United legend, has spoken highly of two young prospects: Manchester United's JJ Gabriel and Arsenal's Max Dowman. Giggs described Gabriel as a "generational talent" who reminds him of Wayne Rooney, while also praising Dowman's impressive qualities. Gabriel, who is 15 and turns 16 on October 6, has already made a preseason first-team appearance for Manchester United against Atletico Madrid. While he has not yet made a competitive debut, he is considered a potential candidate to become the club's youngest ever player. Giggs advised Gabriel to remain patient for his senior breakthrough, emphasizing the importance of playing games while also benefiting from the experience of training with the first team and traveling with the squad. He stressed that Manchester United is the ideal environment for Gabriel's development due to the club's history of nurturing young talent and the presence of experienced figures like Michael Carrick, Darren Fletcher, and Jonny Evans. Giggs cautioned against loaning Gabriel out at this stage, suggesting such moves are more appropriate for players aged 19 or 20.
