Gemini Signs Exclusive Deal With Apex for Crypto Prediction Markets

Gemini has signed a nonbinding letter of intent with Apex Fintech Solutions that would make the cryptocurrency exchange the exclusive regulated venue for crypto event contracts distributed through Apex's brokerage network. The proposed collaboration, announced on August 24, 2026, would allow brokerages connected to Apex's Futures Commission Merchant to offer crypto prediction markets using Gemini for execution and clearing. Under the arrangement, brokerages would not need to establish separate infrastructure to offer these contracts. The companies said they expect to finalize the details in the coming weeks, though they have not yet signed a definitive agreement.
