Gardaí have launched a formal murder investigation following the death of a Brazilian woman in her apartment in Limerick city. The victim has been identified as Jady Cristine Pereira Rosa, 33, who was found unresponsive at her home on Lower Cecil Street on the morning of Friday, August 21, 2026.
