Four injured in Cramond Island rescue during music festival

A multi-agency rescue operation was launched on Cramond Island on August 28, 2026, after four people were injured during a music event, with crews working together to evacuate casualties from the tidal island near Edinburgh. RNLI Queensferry lifeboat volunteers and HM Coastguard were first called at approximately 4:29 p.m. following reports of a woman with an ankle injury.
