Formula 1 Announces 2027 Milan Season Launch

Published 4 September 2026

Formula 1 has announced plans for a three-day season launch event in Milan, Italy, scheduled for February 18-20, 2027. The event, dubbed F1 Live Milan, aims to create an immersive experience for fans ahead of the 2027 season, building on the success of previous similar events. The centerpiece of the festival will be "F1 The Show," a one-night spectacle set for the evening of February 18. This event is expected to bring together all 11 Formula 1 teams and their 22 drivers, alongside team principals, entertainment acts, and musical performances. The broader Milan Fan Festival will span all three days, offering additional activities and opportunities for fans to engage with the sport. Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali described the event as an integral part of the organization's ambition to connect more closely with its global fanbase. "We are always thinking big and pushing boundaries, and F1 Live Milan is going to be an incredible experience created with our fans at its heart," Domenicali stated. "We want them to feel that they are not simply watching the sport, but they are truly immersed in it.
