Former NFL RB Miles Sanders arrested for DUI on June 8

Former NFL Pro Bowler Miles Sanders was arrested on June 8 in Churchill Borough, Pennsylvania, and charged with driving under the influence and careless driving after police found him slumped behind the wheel of a vehicle stopped in the middle of a highway. The 29-year-old running back, who is currently a free agent, is scheduled to appear in court on October 28 for a preliminary hearing. According to the criminal complaint, an officer found Sanders in the driver's seat of a Lexus on William Penn Highway, in and out of consciousness and extremely lethargic. Police reported that they made several attempts to wake him.
