Former boxing champion Zolani Tete shot dead in South Africa

Former two-division world champion Zolani Tete was shot and killed outside his home in Mdantsane, South Africa, on Friday evening. He was 38 years old. The shooting occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. local time as Tete and a 27-year-old female passenger were waiting for his gate to open.
