Forest Pursue Munoz and Armstrong as Transfer Deadline Nears

Published 29 August 2026

Nottingham Forest are engaged in a frantic final push to reshape their squad before the Premier League transfer window closes on September 1, with manager Oliver Glasner confirming the club is working on multiple deals for both arrivals and departures. The activity follows the club-record signing of striker Liam Delap from Chelsea earlier this week. Forest have submitted a bid of up to £22 million for Crystal Palace right wing-back Daniel Munoz, a player Glasner previously managed at Selhurst Park. The offer, reported to consist of £20 million upfront plus £2 million in add-ons, is under consideration by Palace.
