Fontaines D.C. to headline Slane Castle in 2027

Irish rock band Fontaines D.C. will headline a major concert at Slane Castle on June 26, 2027, marking a significant milestone for the Dublin group. The announcement was made on Monday, August 31, following the band's headline performance at the Electric Picnic festival the previous night. The show at the historic County Meath venue will see Fontaines D.C. become only the third Irish act to headline Slane, following Thin Lizzy in 1981 and U2 in 2001. The band teased the gig at the conclusion of their Electric Picnic set on Sunday, August 30, when a castle image and QR code appeared on stage screens.
