Fontaines D.C. Announce 2027 UK Stadium Shows
Irish band Fontaines D.C. has announced their largest headline shows to date, scheduled for the summer of 2027. The Dublin quintet will perform a series of major outdoor concerts across the United Kingdom, including their first stadium performances, alongside two homecoming gigs at Ireland's iconic Slane Castle. The newly announced dates follow the band's recent headline performances at the Reading and Leeds festivals and come ahead of the October 16 release of their fifth album, "Dopamine Chamber." The UK leg of the tour begins on June 29 at Cardiff's Blackweir Fields, followed by shows at Newcastle's St. James Park on July 1, Manchester's Heaton Park on July 3, Glasgow Green on July 6, and concluding at London Stadium on July 9. Supporting Fontaines D.C. at these UK dates will be London rapper Little Simz and Swedish punk band Viagra Boys. Tickets for these shows are set to go on general sale on September 10, with various presales beginning earlier in the week. The band will also play two significant homecoming concerts at Slane Castle in County Meath, Ireland, on June 26 and June 27.
