Florida Mother, Son Charged After Alleged Sexual Relationship Revealed

A Florida mother and her adult son have been arrested and charged following a domestic violence incident that led to allegations of a long-term sexual relationship. Christina Clemens, 46, and her son Shane Clemens, 22, were taken into custody in Polk County on charges of intrafamily abuse. According to Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, deputies were called to the Clemens home for a domestic dispute in which Christina alleged that Shane had struck her. During the subsequent investigation, Shane Clemens reportedly told deputies that he had been having a sexual relationship with his mother since he was 18 years old. When questioned, Christina Clemens confirmed the relationship, telling investigators they had engaged in sexual intercourse "only about 100 times." Sheriff Judd stated that the alleged relationship had been ongoing for approximately four years. Christina Clemens was also charged with adultery, a charge Judd noted is "still on the books." Both individuals are being held in the Polk County Jail. During the investigation, deputies interviewed Christina Clemens's husband, who was not named.
