Five Women Presumed Dead in Philadelphia House Investigation

Philadelphia police and the FBI said Wednesday that seven women are connected to a house in the city's Olney neighborhood, with five of them now presumed dead based on digital evidence recovered from the property. The investigation, which began in June, centers on a massive collection of over one million images and videos linked to the home's former resident, Raymond "R.C." Horsch, who died in 2025. Authorities have identified the five women presumed dead as Gabrielle Amarando, who disappeared in 2012; Amy McHale, who vanished in 2016; Maribel Fresses, reported missing in 2018; Nicole Fusaro, who disappeared in 2018; and Blair Tonzelli, who went missing in 2023. Two additional women connected to the house remain missing. Despite extensive searches, no human remains have been recovered from the property. The investigation was initiated after Horsch's son, Eugene Horsch, was arrested on June 19 near Independence Hall. Authorities said he was found with false law enforcement credentials, firearms, and drugs. A woman with him was carrying identification belonging to Blair Tonzelli.
