First Song From Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana Film Released

Published 14 September 2026

The first song from Nitesh Tiwari's highly anticipated film "Ramayana" has been released. Titled "Jai Jai Ram," the devotional track was unveiled by the film's producers on Monday, September 14, 2026. The song is composed by AR Rahman, with lyrics by Dr. Kumar Vishwas. It features vocals by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal. The music video includes visuals from the film, showcasing Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita. In a statement, AR Rahman described the song's core. "At the heart of Jai Jai Ram is the simple and powerful repetition of Shri Ram's name. Musically, the intention was to preserve the purity and intimacy of a prayer while allowing the composition to grow into a cinematic song," he said. Lyricist Kumar Vishwas explained his approach. "While writing the song, my endeavour was not to describe Shri Ram, because his meaning cannot be contained in words, but to express the relationship every devotee shares with him as our guide, our strength and our refuge," he stated. The song's release marks the beginning of the film's musical journey.
