FG Flags Off Ibadan-Ijebu Ode Road Reconstruction

The Federal Government on Monday, August 24, 2026, officially flagged off the reconstruction and dualisation of the 56.5-kilometre Ibadan-Ijebu Ode Road, a project valued at N297 billion aimed at boosting economic connectivity between Oyo and Ogun states. President Bola Tinubu was represented at the ceremony in Ibadan by Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, who performed the groundbreaking. The project, awarded to JRB Construction Limited, is expected to be completed within 24 to 36 months.
