The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced on Wednesday, July 22, a recall of more than 1.5 million dozen eggs due to potential contamination with Salmonella Enteritidis. The eggs, produced by Midwest Poultry Services, L.P., were sold in six states under multiple brand names.
