FBI Arrests Pennsylvania Man in Alleged ISIS-Inspired Plot

Federal agents arrested a 21-year-old Pennsylvania man on September 12, 2026, for allegedly plotting an ISIS-inspired attack, marking the latest case of online radicalization leading to potential violence. Jonathan Hunter Kramer of Valencia was charged with receiving a firearm and ammunition knowing or having reasonable cause to believe they would be used for a federal crime of terrorism. The arrest occurred in Cranberry Township, about 25 miles north of Pittsburgh, after FBI agents tracked Kramer from his home to a hotel. According to court documents, investigators observed him purchase a disposable phone, meet an individual in a parking lot to obtain a long black bag, and pay cash for a hotel room. He then visited a sporting goods store where agents saw him at the gun counter. A search of Kramer, his hotel room, and his residence yielded a semiautomatic rifle, five rifle magazines, approximately 190 rounds of ammunition, a rifle scope and bipod, an entrenchment tool, pepper spray, a prayer rug, and about 30 knives. Agents also found a handwritten note that read, "DoNt look For me. IDK what I did buT I cant live In constant Fear.
