Fanatics Extends UEFA Deal, Launches Debut Patches for Champions League

Fanatics Collectibles has secured a six-year extension to its partnership with UEFA, covering the commercial rights for all of the governing body's club competitions through the 2033-34 cycle. The renewed agreement, announced on September 2, 2026, includes a new initiative that will see players wear special "Debut Patches" on their sleeves during their first appearances in the men's UEFA Champions League this season. Under the deal, the Topps brand will continue to produce trading cards, stickers, and trading card games for the Champions League, Women's Champions League, Europa League, Conference League, Super Cup, and Youth League. The most notable new feature is the Debut Patch program, which begins with the men's Champions League campaign starting September 8. Any player making their first appearance in the competition will wear a small patch on their sleeve incorporating the word "Debut" into the iconic starball logo. After the match, the patch will be removed, signed by the player, and sent to Topps to be embedded into a one-of-a-kind trading card placed in packs for collectors. The program has specific eligibility rules.
