Falcons beat Packers 35-14 as Robinson, London star

The Atlanta Falcons beat the Green Bay Packers 35-14 on Thursday night at Lambeau Field, recovering from an early 7-0 deficit to claim their first win of the season. Running back Bijan Robinson scored twice and rushed for 194 yards, while receiver Drake London had nine catches for 194 yards as Atlanta took control with 27 consecutive points. Green Bay opened the scoring midway through the first quarter on Jordan Love’s touchdown pass to Christian Watson. Robinson answered with a 55-yard run that set up his three-yard touchdown, tying the game. Atlanta moved ahead in the second quarter on a Nick Folk field goal, then extended its lead shortly before halftime when Michael Penix Jr. found Austin Hooper for a five-yard touchdown. Penix had missed the Falcons’ first two games while recovering from a knee injury. Atlanta added to its advantage after halftime. A 92-yard drive ended with Brian Robinson Jr. scoring on a seven-yard run, making it 24-7. Folk’s field goal put the Falcons ahead 27-7 before Love connected with Matthew Golden for a 15-yard touchdown. Bijan Robinson’s second scoring run, from two yards out, capped the scoring.
