Formula 1 has moved to adjust its controversial 2026 engine regulations again after early-season criticism, agreeing in principle to a further shift in the balance between combustion and electric power for 2027, while FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem also revived debate over a possible return to V8 engines.
