Evernorth plans Q4 deployment of 473 million XRP treasury
Evernorth Holdings said it plans to begin deploying its 473 million XRP treasury through strategies with Ripple, Kraken, Coinbase and BitGo in the fourth quarter of 2026, marking its first announced investment step since becoming publicly traded. The company said the initial phase will use institutional strategies overseen by its investment and risk team. Evernorth aims to generate earnings from its XRP holdings while increasing the amount of XRP held per share. It did not specify how much of the treasury it intends to deploy, and no returns have been reported. Evernorth described the plan as a staged approach. It may later allocate capital to lending and credit strategies on the XRP Ledger, but said those opportunities depend on validators activating the capabilities and their demonstrating reliable operation. The company’s announcement does not say that on-ledger lending is available now. Chief Investment Officer Hugo Jeandesboz, appointed in September, will oversee treasury allocation, liquidity and counterparty relationships, according to Evernorth.
