Epstein Victims Sue Estate Over Unnotified Seized Photos

Two women have filed a class-action lawsuit against the estate of Jeffrey Epstein, alleging that federal authorities failed to notify them and potentially dozens of other survivors that their childhood photographs were seized from his properties and remain in federal custody. The lawsuit, filed on September 16, 2026, in Manhattan federal court, seeks at least $6 million in damages and asks the court to design a supervised process to identify and notify all victims depicted in the seized material. The plaintiffs, identified only as Jane Doe and Amy, claim that few, if any, of the individuals whose images were found in Epstein's collection have been informed that the photos are in the hands of investigators. They argue that the only victims contacted through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) were a small group tied to the criminal trial of Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's convicted co-conspirator. Jane Doe alleges that Epstein stole partially nude photographs of her taken when she was about 12 years old as part of an artist study.
