Ema raises $77 million in Series B led by Creaegis

Enterprise AI startup Ema has raised $77 million in a Series B round led by Creaegis, bringing its total funding to $140 million. The company said it will use the proceeds to expand sales and marketing, develop its AI platform and enter additional markets. Accel, Section 32 and Prosus also participated, with existing investors increasing their stakes, according to reports. Ema builds software that coordinates AI agents to carry out multistep workflows across company systems, including tasks in human resources, information technology and finance. The startup describes these systems as AI employees. Its platform is designed to take actions within applications businesses already use, rather than only respond to prompts, and can incorporate more than 150 AI models, the company has said.
